The Consent in Sexual Violence Project

Our collaborative research group is dedicated to advancing scholarly and public understandings about the critical issue of consent in sexual violence. Funded by an Abe Fellows Network Collaborative Grant, our team is working to analyze almost 40,000 responses to a 2022 NHK survey on sexual violence in Japan. To raise public awareness about the issue of consent, we host talks, movie viewings, and conferences in the Greater Tokyo Area. Please visit our Events page for more information.
